Great car. Everything is in the box and it's completely ready to run.You might want to get a good battery (3000ahm or better with a good charger) because it takes 6 long hours to charge the 1500ahm battery that comes with the car.

Other than that this car is great if you take good care of it.
This item is worth the money ($169 + shipping). The shipping was great, I received the item earlier than I expected.

Fun & Great Looking Car
fast delivery, I received sooner than expected. Came with everything I needed. Very nice looking car and pretty fast. Overall, I would say that I'm happy with my purchase. Though I was surprised how thin the body shell is. Definately will do business again.

Great starter car
This is my first RC car above "toy grade," and my experience with is has been quite good. It comes with everything needed except 8 AA batteries for the radio. As long as you don't abuse it (full speed in reverse, hard turn and full speed forward - multiple times) like I did, I think the transmission will hold up just fine. I'm replacing a couple of gears in mine. Look for spare parts at Tower Hobby.

Product Description
All cars are brand new in a very nice retail box with a see thru window. Each car has real headlights that activate when moving forward as well as taillights when the car is in reverse. It is a full function RC Car and comes in 2 frequencies (27mhz and 49mhz) so you can race each other. We've tested the item in the office and were impressed by the quality of the cars. Each car as well as the remote are well built. They manoeuver extremely well and were easy and a lot of fun to navigate. It even features an aligmenent tab that is usually found on much more expensive units. Most important they were ultra fast and fun!

For the price this little car has a lot of features head and tailights and the ability to run another at the same time without interference due to the different frequencies available. These cars have been crashed into walls and each other over and over and seem to be ok. The only one that broke took a flight off of a desk and the steering linkage snapped on one wheel when it impacted the floor. Cant really complain about that. I bought extras for the price. What really matters is that it entertains the young ones and is helping them learn the controls before moving to more expensive models.


RC Speed Race Car with Remote/Radio Controled
Great RC car. Kids love them. Goes in all directions. Definitly would recommend this to everyone!


I disassembled this thing for pieces, and the construction couldn't be cheaper. The steering is achieved with an electric motor, not a servo, so it's "all or nothing"; not very much fun. I recommend either get something much more expensive, or something much less expensive.

fun toy
For any boy or girl who liked the CARS movie, this is a fun toy. It's fast and easy to operate. My 4 year old grandson played with it for hours at a time. It seems to be durable. I'd recommend it for any preschool child. Girls too!

God-son loves it.
My 3yr old god-son fell in love with this toy instantly. The toy is recommended for a 5yr old, yeah right, he was driving it like a pro in just a couple of hours. So far so good, he hasn't wrecked it yet, and the only con I can find is that it wasn't a rechargeable car.

2nd Chance
My 4 year old son loves the toy but after an hour's worth of play on Christmas morning it died. He of course didn't understand that these kind of things happen. We've got the second one and it seems fine so far.

Having said that the car is a lot of fun and is really fast. It seems to handle the collisions with furniture and walls very well. I seem to be playing with it whenever he's not. The car really flies across the floor. My son is looking forward to taking it out for a spin in the drive way.

I would recommend this as a great toy. I wish they made it with other car characters. It would be a great way to go outside and have fun together. I guess I'll just have to get my own to play with.

Good basic inexpensive R/C car
This is a great toy for the inexperienced child looking for hours of fun with no maintenance other than charging batteries. The car looks great, the controls are basic, and it goes fast enough to be fun but not fast enough to break itself. Best driven indoors or on flat pavement outdoors because it has about 3/16" ground clearance. The steering is all-or-nothing here, no digital-proportional stuff going on, so it will be jerky and imprecise - but that can still be fun and educational, improving timing and hand/eye coordination. The tires are hard rubber, which will be very durable, but which skid easily on flooring. This makes for some fun skids and donuts and things, but sometimes has less control than you want. A light thumb on the throttle can fix this, but then you're driving slower.

This product is a great value for $20, recommended for beginners. You won't be upgrading this car or winning any races or obstacle courses with it - but then you won't be making six trips/month to the hobby shop and spending three times the purchase price on replacement parts, either.

Great car for chasing cats inside the house.

I didn't think ti would be such great product, although the remote control is ugly looking, not attractive at all, but everything from that is perfect, an the idea of rechargables battery's is a genius, no more thousands of battery's and money wasted!!
